Cooper James Grant Buelow

Cooper James Grant Buelow, 22, passed away unexpectedly on September 3, 2025. He was born in Milwaukee, Wisconsin on July 19, 2003 to John and Kristine Buelow.

Cooper was very charismatic with a big personality. His love of making people laugh, combined with his quick wit and sharp sense of humor, usually made him the center of attention and the life of the party. At the same time, he had tremendous compassion for those he loved and showed kindness to others, particularly children, people in need, and those experiencing tough times.

While a traditional school setting made him squirm, he loved learning and spent much of his time reading and studying different topics including history, art, religion, cultures and societies. Always eager to engage in a conversation on the most random of topics, he was ready to dive deep, hoping to have a good debate, and then move on with a laugh and respect for other’s points of view.

Cooper’s exceptional creativity was most evident in his storytelling, and his passion was combining his funny stories with drawings and animation. While he was studying graphic design at UW Oshkosh, his dream was to combine his comedy and art to entertain others.

Cooper was a remarkable person, cherished as a son, adored as a brother, and known as a good friend to many. He will be deeply missed by his parents, John and Kristine; twin brother, Finn and sister, Greta; special friend Charli; along with his extended family and many others that were blessed to know him and love him.
