Holy Family brings beautiful music, live animals to story of first Christmas

Holy Family Church has announced living nativity production which will be put on for one night only this Christmas holiday season.

Returning for its fifth year on December 7th, the Living Nativity creates an immersive experience of the first Christmas.

Those in attendance will be guided through the story by a narrator, voiced by Reverend Ryan Pruess, along with music of the Holy Family Choir and string musicians.

Holy Family staff, clergy, and volunteers, from children to adults, will don costumes to transform into the who’s who of the Nativity including shepherds, the Inn Keeper and his wife, angels, Wise Men, and the Holy Family, portrayed by a family from the parish who recently welcomed a baby.

Real animals, like sheep, goats, donkeys, and camels from area farms will also star in production.

After the production concludes, the audience can spend time at the Nativity petting zoo, located in the back of Holy Family Church. There, they can meet the animals and snap photos with them.

Tickets for The Living Nativity will go on sale at 8:00 am on Monday, November 3 at hometowntickets.com/hf and at the Holy Family Parish Office, at 271 Fourth Street Way in Fond du Lac.

Tickets are $18 plus tax, with children 3 and under being free. Those interested in attending are encouraged to purchase their tickets early, as the Living Nativity has sold out every year.

Tickets are general admission only, and seating is available on a first-come, first-served basis.
