Mattress in roadway causes vehicle to roll several times near Waupun

Two people were injured in a single vehicle crash Saturday night, November 1, 2025, when the vehicle struck what was reported to be a mattress in the southbound lanes of 151, just north of Waupun.

After striking the mattress, the vehicle left the roadway, overturning several times before coming to a rest on the south frontage road.

Waupun Fire Department, Lifestar EMS, Waupun Police and Fond du Lac County Sheriff’s deputies responded.

Upon arrival, crews found that two people were in the vehicle and had sustained injuries, but were able to self extricate from the vehicle.
