Dual semi truck crash reported in northeast Fond du Lac County

Fond du Lac County Sheriff’s Deputies and Wisconsin State Patrol Troopers were working a two semi crash early Friday morning, March 13, 2026.

Just before 3 a.m. one of the semi’s drivers called in the crash on County Highway G north of County Q, saying his semi was now in the ditch with the roof sheared off. The driver reported minor injuries and Mt Calvary ambulance responded as well as Calumet Fire for a report of a possible fluid leak.

The other semi involved had apparently left the scene northbound and responding officers were looking for it. Because of the proximity to the Calumet County line, the Calumet County Sheriff’s office was notified as well.

The semi was found a short time later with the driver making phone contact with a deputy working the crash, saying he wasn’t aware that he had been involved in a crash.

No other information is known at this time. County G was closed between Kiel Road and Highway Q while crews worked the scene and Whealon Towing removed the semi.
