Clifford W. Birschbach

Clifford W. Birschbach, 67, of Suring, Wisconsin, passed away on April 11, 2026 at St. Francis Home in Fond du Lac, Wisconsin. He was born March 15, 1959 to Kenneth and Karen (Zamzow) Birschbach.

Cliff was a tree trimmer and a chain saw collector. He loved the outdoors and was happy to work and live in the northern woods. Cliff was always willing to help out a family member or friend in need. He was dependable and was the local handy man and hardware store all in one.

“Grandpa” was Cliff’s favorite title. He looked forward to spending time with his grandchildren and they were his motivation.

Cliff is survived by his children, Catrina (Scott) Gohr, Cyle Birschbach, and Chad (Danylle Hofmann) Birschbach; grandchildren Tyler (Madison Whittaker) Birschbach, Camden Gohr, and Colson Birschbach; great grandchild Jett Birschbach; sisters Gloria (Ken) Kissinger, Grace (Rick) Glaunert, Ginger (Mark) Hintz, and Gwyn (Travis) Leu; brother-in-law Mike Havey; many nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews, along with relatives and friends.

Cliff was preceded in death by his parents, sister Gail Havey, and step mother Sharleen Birschbach.

In accordance with Cliff’s wishes, he will be cremated and privately buried with his parents at St. John the Baptist – Woodhull Cemetery. A Celebration of Life is being planned for a later date.

Cliff’s family would like to thank the staff at the various hospitals and St. Francis Home for their care.
