Michael David Schneider

Michael David Schneider, “Schnides,” 56, passed away May 9th surrounded by his loved ones. He was born January 18, 1970 to Fredrick and Jean (Willie) Schneider in Fond du Lac.

Mike attended high school in the Fond du Lac area. He was employed with Canadian National for 24 years. Mike did not get many days off with the railroad, so he made the most of those days getting out the grill, drinking a few beers and hanging out around a bonfire.

Mike enjoyed fishing, hunting, grilling and riding his Harley. He liked attending all of Michala’s softball games.

Mike is survived by children Zachary Schneider and Michala Schneider (Jordan Guelig), girlfriend Tina Ennis and her daughter, Bresa, mother Jean, brother Steve (Linda) Schneider, nieces Kelly and Molly, as well as many friends.

In addition to his father, Fredrick, Mike was preceded in death by his brother Victor Schneider.

Services: Mike’s family invites relatives and friends to Zacherl Funeral Home on Saturday, May 16th at 3:00 p.m. for funeral service. Visitation will take place from Noon until the time of services. A dinner and celebration of Mike’s life will be held at The Radisson in Fond du Lac at 5:00 p.m.
