Fire does extensive damage to Sheboygan County home

Fire did extensive damage to a Sheboygan County home Tuesday, June 9, 2026.

At about 4:37 p.m., Sheboygan County Emergency Communications received a 911 call regarding a house fire located in the N4400 block of Shamrock Road, in the Town of Mitchell.

The homeowner had reported the fire began in the garage and spread to the home.

Upon arrival, first responding units observed the fire had spread to the entirety of the home.

All residents were able to make it safely out of the house prior to fire departments arrival.

In total, 15 different fire departments sent units to help extinguish the blaze.
