Fond du Lac man charged with child sexual abuse materials pleads not guilty

A Fond du Lac man arrested last December on possession of child pornography charges has entered not guilty pleas to all 10 of his charges Monday, July 20, 2026 in Fond du Lac County Circuit Court.

66 year old Jeffrey Riggs was arrested after a search warrant was executed at his home in December. Police said an investigation of devices in his home found a significant quantity of child sexual abuse materials.

After Riggs’s attorney entered not guilty pleas, the Fond du Lac County court scheduled a plea and sentencing hearing for October 5, indicating a plea deal could be in the works.

Riggs is free on $100,000 bond.
