Car break-ins in Oshkosh leads to one person in custody
Oshkosh Police investigating overnight vehicle break-ins found at least one of the individuals possibly involved and took them into custody.
Around 2 a.m., the dispatch center received multiple reports of four males looking into car windows in the 200 block of west Lincoln Avenue.
As officers arrived in the area, they found multiple vehicles with doors open that appeared to have been rummaged through.
While in the area, another report of the males at the intersection of Cherry Street and Lincoln Avenue had police move in where they found and took one person into custody that came out from behind a house and run when they saw law enforcement.
After apprehending the man, he gave names of the others that were still at large as other officers continued to search the area, though its unknown if any other suspects were found.
