Earth Fair calling all electric vehicles

Electric vehicle owners are being invited to take part in an upcoming environmental event in Fond du Lac.

The Congregation of Sisters of St. Agnes will host an Earth Fair on Saturday, September 19th, at its Fond du Lac campus.

Organizers are looking for people who own hybrid, plug-in hybrid or fully electric vehicles to bring them to the event and share their experiences with others.

The event is part of National Drive Electric Month and also recognizes the Sisters of St. Agnes’ long history of environmental concern, along with the 20-year “Driving in God’s Garden” program from Drive $mart Wisconsin.

The event will also include information on ways drivers can improve fuel economy and potentially reduce their gasoline costs.

Electric vehicle owners interested in displaying their vehicles can sign up through the National Drive Electric Month website.

The Earth Fair is open to anyone interested, whether or not they own an electric vehicle.
