The Dodge County Sheriff’s Office will be hosting free Landlord-Tenant Training

The Dodge County Sheriff’s Office will be hosting free landlord/tenant training. This four-hour training will educate landlords and tenants on current Wisconsin laws, best practices for operating rental properties, landlord and tenant rights, the eviction process, and what the sheriff’s office responsibility is during this process. This training will be held on Friday, October 9, 2026, at 1:00 p.m. in the auditorium on the first floor of the Dodge County Administration Building, located at 127 E. Oak Street, Juneau, Wisconsin.

Once again, Corina Eufinger, who is a fourth-generation rental investor, licensed Wisconsin Real Estate Broker with Iron Edge Realty, educator, consultant, and content creator, will be our speaker. After decades of hands-on experience in Wisconsin real estate, including property management, investing, brokerage, and industry leadership, her work today is centered on helping people understand real estate well enough to make better decisions. Through consulting, digital resources, Corina’s Spunky Pro Podcast, and the Spunky Life YouTube channel, she teaches practical buy-and-hold investing without the hype, shortcuts, or “financial freedom” promises that dominate much of the industry.

Corina served as the Chairman of the Wisconsin Apartment Association from 2020 through 2025 and has taught investors throughout Wisconsin on subjects including tenant screening, landlord systems, and Wisconsin rental law. She is known for taking complicated situations and making them useful, understandable, and grounded in the realities of actually owning property. Her work has also expanded beyond investor education into residential brokerage, where she helps buyers and sellers make real estate decisions around the lives they actually want to live.

Corina will share her expertise with our residents and educate attendees on proper screening, leases, landlord/tenant laws, the eviction process and the negative impact evictions have on a tenant’s record. The Dodge County Sheriff’s Office civil process team will be on hand to briefly discuss the sheriff’s office responsibilities and processes during an eviction and answer any questions you may have. The Dodge County Landlord Association will also be in attendance. It is our goal to make landlord/tenant relationships successful and run smoothly here in Dodge County.

Who should attend? Landlords, property managers, tenants, law enforcement, city/village representatives, and anyone wanting to know more about these processes. How to Register? Send an email to jzitlow@co.dodge.wi.us or call 920-386-3730 with the names and number of attendees. Please bring note taking materials with you.

Questions may be directed to Sheriff Dale J. Schmidt.
