$642,000 estate gift leaves lasting legacy for local health care

The Agnesian HealthCare Foundation has received a $642,000 estate gift that will benefit three important areas of health care in Fond du Lac.

The anonymous donation will support St. Francis Home, the SSM Health Hospice Home of Hope, and newborn needs at the Family Birth Suites at SSM Health St. Agnes Hospital.

The foundation says the gift will help meet ongoing needs at each location and enhance care for patients, residents and families.

Foundation officials say the donation is an example of how planned gifts can create a lasting legacy while supporting health care in the community for generations to come.
