FOND DU LAC – On a rain-soaked Friday night at Cardinals Stadium, Fond du Lac broke open a tight game with a dominant second-half performance, scoring 30 points after halftime to earn a convincing 36-0 shutout victory over Appleton East.

The Cardinals relied on a powerful ground attack and a stifling defense to improve to 2-1 in Fox Valley Association play. Leading the way was Eli Michelwicz, who found the end zone three times and helped spark the offensive explosion.
