Joan E. Klotz
Joan E. Klotz, 90, of Campbellsport went to her heavenly home on Thur. May 22, 2014 at the Hospice Home of Hope in Fond du Lac. She was born in the Town of Auburn on June 6, 1922 the daughter of Elmer and Cresence (Harter) Krueger. On June 2, 1948 she married Joseph I. Klotz at St. Matthews Catholic Church in Campbellsport where she is still a member. She attended Oshkosh Normal and taught at Barton and St. Matthews Grade School. She enjoyed fishing Up North, knitting, sheepshead, watching the Brewers and crossword puzzles. The family has countless memories of the times they spent at St. Germain.
She is survived by her husband Joe, her sons Joe (Darc) Klotz of Campbellsport, John (Brenda) Klotz of Campbellsport, and Jerry (Sharon) Klotz of West Bend, her grandchildren Jill (Tom) Flitter, Jodi (Mike) Olney, Mike (Michelle) Klotz, Jason (Chelsea) Klotz, Stephanie Klotz, Katie (Dan) Klotz, Kelley Klotz, Laura (Micah) Tyberg and Daniel (Sarah) Klotz, her great grandchildren Hope, Serena, Zachary, Justin, McKenzie, Kyle, Allen, Porter, Levi, Daphne, Cosette, Jude, August and Bishop, other relatives and friends.
Preceding her in death were her parents, her brother Alan Krueger and her grandson Nicholas Klotz.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Tuesday May 27th at 5:00 PM at St. Matthews Catholic Church, 406 E. Main St. Campbellsport. Rev. Neil Zinthefer will officiate and burial follow in St. Matthews Cemetery.
There will be no visitation prior to mass; the family will greet relatives and friends at a reception in the parish hall following the mass. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to St. Matthews Church or School.
