Karen A. Bleuel

Karen Ann Bleuel, 75 passed away Saturday, December 8, at St. Agnes Hospital following a short illness.

Karen was born on July 13th, 1943 to Myron and Audrey Woehlke in Milwaukee.

Karen married Elroy Bleuel on June 25th, 1966 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Fond du Lac.

She retired from Mercury Marine after 35 years. After retiring, Karen and Elroy traveled worldwide together. She enjoyed gambling, scratch off tickets, and her card club friends. Karen enjoyed trap shooting and golf in retirement. She was a member of the Eagles Auxiliary Club. Karen loved her nieces and nephews as if they were her own.

Karen was preceded in death by her parents; two sisters-in-law; and a brother-in-law.

Survivors include, her husband of 52 years, Elroy; siblings, Rodger (Carol) Woehlke, Doug (Barb) Woehlke; ten nieces and nephews and spouses; and many great-nieces and nephews.

Karen’s family will greet friends and relatives Thursday December 13th from 10:00 to 11:45 AM with Mass of Christian Burial at Noon at Holy Family Catholic Church, 271 Fourth Street Way in Fond du Lac.

In lieu of flowers, friends may make a donation of their choice in Karen’s name.
