Thomas J. Wood
Thomas J. Wood, 71, of
He was born on July 9, 1946,
in
the son of Leonard and E. Marion Bostwick Wood.
On August 13, 1993, he married Laura Scharrschmidt, in
Thomas was a tool sharpener
at Mercury Marine for over 30 years. He
was the past president of The Gratitude Club and a member of Fifth Chapter
Motorcycle Group. He enjoyed shooting
pool, riding his Harley, listening to the Blues and Thomas loved watching his
grandchildren fish. He lived to make his
wife happy.
He is survived by his wife,
Laura Wood of Fond du Lac; four step-sons: Derek (Stephanie) Rohlfs, Jason
(Colleen) Rohlfs, Mike (special friend Crystal) Rohlfs and Jeff (Lisa) Rohlfs;
nine grandchildren; his sister, Peggy (Mike) Loewer; mother-in-law, Ursula
Scharrschmidt; sister-in-law, Jini (John) Diamond; brother-in-law, Craig
(Maggie) Scharrschmidt; sister-in-law, Christine Scharrschmidt; nieces and
nephews: Aaron (Virginia) Loewer and Adam (Leah) Loewer; his great nephew,
Oliver Loewer and his friends and neighbors.
He is preceded in death by
his parents; his brother, Robert; his father-in-law, William Scharrschmidt and
a brother-in-law, Paul Scharrschmidt.
Cremation has taken
place. A celebration of Tom’s life will
be held at a later date. Memorials may
be directed to Generations Hospice in Tom’s name.
