Envision Greater FDL Unveils Blueprint For Post-May 26th

Materials have now been made available to assist Fond du Lac county businesses as they get ready for the re-open in response to the Safer At Home orders. Envision Greater Fond du Lac’s Reopen Fond du Lac County Task Force, in partnership with Fond du Lac County Public Health, created the materials which include documents (pandemic operations plan, COVID screening tool for employers, and business guidance) meant to provide guidance for businesses as they begin to reopen after the order expires. 

Business owners, employees and the communities whom support them should follow these guidelines as restrictions ease or become lifted, to make sure we do not risk a resurgence of the pandemic, causing a wave of new cases and potentially additional economic hardship. “These documents allow businesses and organizations to immediately start writing an operations plan,” Sadie Parafiniuk, president/CEO of Envision Greater Fond du Lac, said. “These tools will provide certainty and confidence for both employers, employees and customers.”

The Reopen Fond du Lac County Task Force supports and continues to monitor WEDC’s reopen guidelines that are industry specific. These guidelines are available at https://wedc.org/reopen-guidelines/.

“These documents are a great guide for businesses as they begin the task of reopening,” Kim Mueller, health officer, Fond du Lac County Health Department, said. “We reviewed a number of resources provided by surrounding communities, as well as those provided by government entities.”
