FDL City And County Holiday Hours And Refuse Collection

City offices in the Fond du Lac City-County Government Center will close at noon on December 24th and December 31st and will be closed all day on December 25th and January 1st in observance of the holidays. The Municipal Service Center will close at 11a.m. on December 24th and December 31st and will be closed all day on December 25th and January 1st. Fond du Lac Area Transit will operate until noon on December 24th and December 31st and will be closed all day on December 25th and January 1st in observance of the holidays. The Senior Center will be closed on December 24th, 25th, 31st and January 1st in observance of the holidays. The Fond du Lac Public Library will be closed on December 24th and December 25th for the Christmas holiday and will close at 4p.m. on December 31st and be closed all day on January 1st for New Year’s Day. 

FDL County Holiday Hours

Fond du Lac County Executive Al Buechel has announced the County office hours for the holiday season. County Offices in the City-County Government Center, the Department of Social Services, the Veterans Service Office and the Department of Community Programs will close at noon on December 24th and December 31st and will be closed all day on December 25th and January 1st for the Christmas and New Year’s holidays. The Sheriff’s Office Lobby Window will close at 11 a.m. on the 24th and 31st and will be closed all day on December 25th and January 1st. The Highway Department will be closed on Christmas Day and New Year’s Day.

Holiday Refuse Collection Hours Announced

Due to the Christmas Day and New Year’s Day Holidays, refuse and recycling collection in the City of Fond du Lac for December 25th and January 1st will be adjusted to one day later.  Residents with a normal Wednesday collection (December 25 and January 1) will have their refuse and recycling collected on Thursday (December 26 and January 2). Residents with a Tuesday collection (December 24 and December 31) will have their refuse and recycling collected on their regular day. Extra trucks will be assigned due to the double collection, so please have your refuse cart set out by 5:00 a.m. each day.
