FDL Woman Charged For Early Morning Vehicle Chase
Bond was set at $10,000 cash when a 30-year-old Fond du Lac woman made her initial appearance in Fond du Lac County Court on fleeing an officer and possession of drug paraphernalia charges. Fond du Lac Assistant Police Chief Steve Thiry says twice before police were involved in pursuits with Jaimie Schwartz, but had to cut them off. An officer recognized her vehicle early Sunday morning in the area of South Main and 4th Street. The officer tried to pull her over for multiple suspensions. She headed west on Western Avenue at a high rate of speed turning north on Pioneer. The pursuit made its way through several City streets and she ended up in the parking lot of Silica For Your Home after spike strips deflated all her tires. A preliminary hearing is scheduled for next Thursday. The pursuit began just before 2:30 Sunday morning.
