Fondue Fest Saturday

Fondue Fest in Downtown Fond du Lac is only a day away.  Dusty Krikau of the Downtown Fond du Lac Partnership says they will have three music stages. The North stage will feature music from Armchair Boogie, the Kip Jones Trio, and Kal Bergendahl. 107.1 The Bull will have the South stage. Music on that stage will feature Geoff Landon at 9 a.m., Twang at 11 a.m., and Driftwood at 2:30 p.m. Then The Jimmys will perform at the Thelma Sadoff Center for the Arts from 5 to 8 p.m.Of course there will be cheese and chocolate fondue at Forest and Main. You won’t be able to miss the 2,000 pound fondue pot out in the street. The Kids Zone will be in the U.S. Bank parking lot. There’s also the Big Brothers Big Sisters Splash and Dash 5K. Krikau says there will literally be something for everyone. The race begins and ends at Veterans Park. There will also be a classic car show. Events will run from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. with the finale concert by The Jimmys at 5 p.m.
