Former Packer Chester Marcol Speaks in Fond du Lac

Former Packer Chester Marcol
was in Fond du Lac
Tuesday night as part of the Voices for Better Choices event. Now serving as a
certified alcohol and drug counselor, Marcol spoke about his past drug abuse
and recovery. He hopes his story will push young people to make better choices.
“It’s important to talk to young people about getting in the car with somebody
who has been using or drinking, or if they make a poor choice. It’s much better
to make a phone call and have a parent or a friend pick the kid up.” Marcol
said.  He says his goal now is to provide
information, education, and care for others who may have turned to drugs or
alcohol.
