Hwy 49 Meeting Scheduled In Brandon

The state’s Department of Transportation will hold a meeting in Brandon to discuss proposed improvements to State Highway 49 in the village of Brandon from Clark Street to the west village limits. The meeting will be Thursday, March 9, from 5 to 6:30 p.m. at the Brandon Village Hall.  A short presentation will begin at 5:15 p.m., followed by an open-house. Proposed improvements include milling and resurfacing the driving lanes of WIS 49 and making accessibility improvements to the sidewalk curb ramps at permitted crosswalks.
