Injured From Hwy 23 Accident Listed
A 58-year-old Plymouth man is being cited for following too close and causing a 4-vehicle accident on Highway 23 at Whispering Springs Boulevard in Fond du Lac Sunday afternoon that injured ten people. Kenneth Behr was not injured, but his semi struck hit a pickup truck trying to go around an SUV that slowed to make a turn. Fond du Lac Assistant Police Chief Steve Klein says after that the pickup pushed the SUV into the opposite lane where it struck a mini-van. Four occupants of the SUV were injured including the driver 35-year-old Richard Gil and 7-year-old Ezekial Gill of Fond du Lac, both of whom suffered serious injuries. Five people from a Kohler family were injured in the mini-van. One of them, 9-year-old Annalise Borowski, suffered internal injuries and was transferred to Children’s Hospital in Milwaukee. A 22-year-old DeForest woman, who was a passenger in the pickup, suffered minor injuries.
