Keeping The Wreaths Red

Firefighters in Fond du Lac are hoping to Keep the Wreaths Red this holiday season. Division Chief Troy Haase says it is a simple premise, each of the three fire stations in the City have a Christmas wreath with red lights. If there is a fire related to Christmas decorations they put in a white blub to replace a red bulb. He says they hope the fire prevention education they do on KFIZ or through their website helps them to keep the wreaths red. The first Red Wreath campaign in Fond du Lac was during the 2013 Christmas season. Fortunately during the last three holiday seasons the fire department has been able to Keep the Wreaths Red.
