Man Arrested for Fleeing Police after Crash

A Fond du Lac
man is in custody after attempting to run away from police in the aftermath of
an apparent crash. Fond du Lac County Deputies responded to the report of a truck
being stuck in a ditch near the intersection of Hinn Road and Kraus Lane in Mount Calvary
around 12:45am Sunday morning. Once they arrived, a passenger in the vehicle
apparently took off running through a cornfield – and was quickly taken down by
deputies. The Sheriff’s Office tells us the man was arrested for Resisting and
Obstructing, misdemeanor bail jumping, having open intoxicants in the vehicle,
and was held on a probation hold.
