Names Released from Fatal Dodge County Crash

The Dodge County Sheriff’s Office has released the names
of those involved in a fatal crash Sunday night on Highway 151 in-between
Beaver Dam and Waupun. A media release says 24-year-old Ryan Schultz of Sun
Prairie died in the crash that happened just north of the intersection of
Redwood Road around 10 pm on Sunday. Schultz was driving south on Highway 151
when he was hit head-on by a minivan being driven north in the southbound lanes
by 39-year-old Eric Hagenbart from Beaver Dam. Hagenbart was flown from the
scene by Flight for Life to Aurora Hospital in Summit with life-threatening
injuries. The Sheriff’s Office is continuing their investigation into the
crash. Alcohol and operating on the wrong side of the highway are believed to
be factors in the crash.
