Nearly 500 Traffic Accidents In FDL Over Last Three Months

If it seems there have been more traffic accidents in Fond du Lac this winter there are some facts available to back up that assertion. Fond du Lac Police Officer Erik Foster says he went through the department’s numbers and was surprised at the outcome. He says there were 477 accidents in three months. He says over a recent three day span there were 23 accidents. Foster says it is a matter of slowing down for conditions whether roads are snow-covered and icy or it is foggy. He says the thawing and freezing of roads during the day have also come into play.
