Progress Being Made On Waupun Memorial Hospital Expansion

Progress continues on a $23 million expansion of Waupun Memorial Hospital. Agnesian HealthCare officials held a tour of the 52,775-square-foot-addition for the media Wednesday afternoon. Waupun Memorial Hospital Chief Operating Officer DeAnn Thurmer (pictured above) says the expansion includes 21 inpatient rooms. She says the new footprint is attached to the hospital at the second floor level. She says the first floor is shelled for use for future programs. She says as they move their programs into the addition they will be able to backfill that space in the existing hospital with outpatient programs that are growing. Facilities Project Manager Dan Loest says the addition will also feature state-of-the-art technology, building on the technology they put into a new addition at St. Agnes Hospital and the new Ripon Medical Center. The addition will be complete this fall between September and November 1st.
