Search Is On For Speeding Vehicle

The FDL County Sheriff’s Department is continuing to look for a vehicle that was able to elude them late last night. Deputies attempted to make a traffic stop just after 11:20 p.m. Tuesday night on I-41 near Byron. The vehicle in question was speeding, and failed to stop when deputies approached. The pursuit continued on 41 where the vehicle exited at Hwy. 49 in Dodge County. The vehicle then drove west through Brownsville, where the decision was made to end the chase. Officials were able to get a description of the vehicle, and the incident remains under investigation. When the driver of the vehicle is caught, they will face charges of knowingly fleeing an officer, along with numerous traffic violations.
