Second Impressions Thrift Store Benefits WLA
A new thrift store has opened up in the old Sentry Building on Winnebago Drive in Fond du Lac. Faye Boelk formerly of Faye’s Fun and Learning is the manager of Second Impressions Thrift Store. She says sales will help support Winnebago Lutheran Academy. She says it is hoped they will eventually also support other non-profit organizations in the community. She says the Wisconsin Evangelical Lutheran Synod runs a few similar thrift stores in the state. She says their inventory includes clothing, home décor, house wares, furniture, antiques and collectibles, arts and crafts and much more. They are open Thursday and Fridays from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., and Saturdays from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. They are located just up the street from the KFIZ studios.
