Suspected Cheese Thief Makes Initial Court Appearance

One
of two Milwaukee men suspected of stealing a
semi full of cheese in Germantown
has been charged. Thirty-five-year-old Larelle Henderson made his initial
appearance in Washington County Court this week. According to the criminal
complaint he and 54-year-old Tracey Steed stole a semi tractor then used it to
steal a trailer containing $70,000 worth of cheese in January of last year.
They sold some of the cheese and the rest was recovered, but had to be
destroyed due to possible contamination. An arrest warrant was issued for Steed
after he failed to appear in court Monday. Henderson is back in court April 20th.
