Town of Taycheedah Home Considered a “Complete Loss” Following Fire
A home in the Town of Taycheedah is considered a “complete
loss” after a fire Thursday afternoon.
The Mount Calvary Fire Department and Mount Calvary
Ambulance, along with deputies from the Fond du Lac County Sheriff’s Office
were dispatched to the home on Silica Road at 12:42 pm. Upon arrival, smoke and
flames were visible from the roof of the home.
A news release says the home owner called 9-1-1 to report
that their home was on fire. No one was injured in the fire, which remains
under investigation. Silica Road was closed between Abler Road and Lakeview
Road to allow for fire crews to work at the scene.
Also assisting at the scene were fire departments from the
Town of Calumet, Town of Fond du Lac, City of Fond du Lac Fire & Ambulance,
St. Cloud, Eden, Campbellsport, Greenbush, St. Anna, Stockbridge, New Holstein,
Lamartine, Kiel and Van Dyne along with RIT Team 1 and 2 and Eden First
Responders.
