UW Extension Assisting With Voter Registration

Fond du Lac County UW-Extension educators will be assisting with voter registration and absentee voting in Fond du Lac today. Diana Tscheschlok, Community Development Educator with Fond du Lac County UW-Extension, says the programs are a part of promoting access and public participation in decision making. Extension officials will be at the City/County Government Center on Macy Street in Fond du Lac today from 9:30 am until 3pm to answer questions about registration and voting. Laptops will be available for people to see their ballot ahead of time and to view the types of identifications that are acceptable when voting. A second voter registration program will be held Monday from 2 until 4 pm.  People interested in attending are encouraged to bring proof of local residence and a photo ID.
