What FDL County Voters Are Voting On
Fond du Lac County voters will have plenty of races and questions to decide today. At the federal level there is the presidential, U.S. Senate, and 6th Congressional District races. At the state level there are senate races in the 14th and 18th State Senate Districts, and the 41st, 42nd and 52nd State Assembly races. The Villages of Campbellsport and North Fond du Lac have village administrator and fire truck borrowing referendums. There are also school districts referendums in the Campbellsport, Kewaskum and Waupun School Districts.
Voter Turnout Expected To Be High
If Fond du Lac County Clerk Lisa Freiberg is correct three out of every four registered voters in the County will be casting their ballots in this election. Freiberg is predicting a 75 percent turnout. She says she bases her predictions on registered voters not on eligible voters, which the state bases their predictions on. There are nearly 60,000 registered voters in the County. She says if you are in line when the polls close at 8 p.m. you will be allowed to vote. Freiberg says there will be election observers at some polls and there will be some exit polling too. She reminds voters they will need a photo ID to vote, which can include a driver’s license, passport, veterans card and other forms of photo ID.
