The Fond du Lac football rolled over Oshkosh West 49-7 on Friday night at JJ Keller Field at Titan Stadium in Oshkosh. The Cardinals scored on the first play of the game when Brian Luteyn took a screen pass 65 yards for a touchdown. Luteyn added touchdown catches of 31 and 13 yards in the first half on his way to a five catch, 155 yard day. Junior running back Justin Maratik carried it 16 times for 233 yards and touchdown runs of 43 and 54 yards. Caleb Goldstein also caught a 37 yard TD pass from Jack Nejedlo in the first half and Joe Kuber ran for a 31 yard score late in the 4th quarter as Fondy 507 yards of total offense. Oshkosh West’s lone score came on a five yard TD catch by Matt Rebholz in the 1st quarter. West (2-5, 1-4) collected just 121 total yards on the night including 118 through the air and just 3 yards rushing. The Cardinals (6-1, 4-1) clinched a playoff bid with the victory.
