Giannis, Yelich win ESPY Awards
Add some more awards for Milwaukee’s two newest MVP’s. Giannis Antetokounmpo of the Bucks and Christian Yelich of the Brewers each won awards at the ESPY’s last night. Giannis picked up wins for “Best Male Athlete” and “Best NBA Player”, while Yelich won the ESPY for “Best MLB Player”.
Giannis beat out Patrick Mahomes of the Kansas City Chiefs, Mookie Betts of the Boston Red Sox and golfer Brooks Koepka for the “Best Male Athlete” award – and won “Best NBA Player” over James Harden of the Rockets, Kevin Durant (now formerly) of Golden State and Paul George (now formerly) of Oklahoma City.
Yelich won “Best MLB Player” over Mookie Betts, Jacob DeGrom of the New York Mets and Blake Snell of Tampa Bay.
