>>Miami Heat Provide Strong Opposition As Bucks Advance To Second Round
(Lake Buena Vista, FL) — The Miami Heat are a big obstacle as the Bucks pursue the NBA Championship. The two teams meet in the second round of the playoffs with a game this evening at 5:30 p-m. The Heat will lean on Bam Adebayo to slow down Milwaukee’s Giannis Antetokounmpo. He held the reigning MVP to 13 points on six-of-18 shooting in a game last March. Adebayo is expected to make the league’s all-defensive team this season. Milwaukee thumped the Orlando Magic 118-104 Saturday to advance. Listen to Game One of the series between Milwaukee and Miami tonight starting at 5 pm on KFIZ.
>>Packers President: Team Should Speak Out Against Racism
(Green Bay, WI) — Packers President Mark Murphy says he disagrees with fans who say the team should just stick to sports. Murphy says the Packers organization should speak out against racism. He says it’s not just up to the Black community to solve the issue, adding, “It’s on all of us.” Murphy posted a video sharing his thoughts Saturday. He called on NFL owners to help make a difference in fighting racism.
>>Trade Deadline Looming For Major League Baseball
(Milwaukee, WI) — Brewers president of baseball operations David Stearns isn’t promising any trades, but he’s been talking to a lot of teams. The Major League Baseball trade deadline is at 3:00 p-m today (Monday). The fact that 16 teams will make the playoffs, compared to the usual 10, likely means fewer are ready to sell out. As the Brewers take on Pittsburgh today, the Pirates are actually the only National League with no chance for the postseason halfway through the 60-game schedule. Arizona and Washington have to decide whether they are buyers or sellers.
