–Manny Machado drove in four runs – hitting a double and a home run for the Dodgers as they won the NLDS series over the Braves. Los Angeles will head to Milwaukee to play the Brewers in the NLCS – game one is Friday.

American League Division Series:

Houston 11, Cleveland 3

–George Springer homered twice in the win as the Astros completed the sweep of the Indians in the ALDS.

Boston 16, NY Yankees 1

–Red Sox second baseman Brock Holt hit for the cycle – going 4 for 6 with five RBI as the Red Sox demolished the Yankees Monday night in game three. Boston can win the series tonight at Yankee Stadium in game four.

NFL:

New Orleans 43, Washington 19

–Drew Brees threw for 363 yards and three touchdowns in the win for the Saints. Brees passed Peyton Manning to become the NFL’s all-time leader in yards passing on a second quarter touchdown throw to Tre’Quan Smith.
