–Christian Yelich did MVP-like things as the Brewers rallied to down the Cardinals and secure the series win at Miller Park on Sunday afternoon. Yelich hit his fourth home run in as many games in the first inning, then delivered a walk-off two run double to win the game, as Milwaukee rallied from down 4-1 to pull off the win. Corbin Burnes struck out 12 batters in his first start – but did not factor into the decision.

Through the first four games, Yelich has six hits in 12 at-bats, with four home runs, eight RBI with six runs scored and six walks.

The Brewers open a three-game series in Cincinnati tonight – coverage starts at 5:05 on KFIZ.

–Playing without three key starters, the Bucks battled tough with the Hawks, but fell in overtime on a buzzer beater from rookie Trae Young on Sunday afternoon. Giannis was held out after tweaking his sprained right ankle in Thursday’s win over the Clippers. Khris Middleton did not play with a sore groin, and Eric Bledsoe was rested by coach Mike Budenholzer.

Sterling Brown scored 27 points to lead the Bucks, while Tim Fraizer (20 points & 15 assists) and Bonzi Colson (15 points & 16 rebounds) had double-doubles in the loss. The Bucks play at Brooklyn tonight – tipoff time is 6:30 pm.

NASCAR:

Denny Hamlin overcame two penalties on pit road to win the NASCAR Cup event at Texas Motor Speedway. Hamlin, who led the final 12 laps, earned his third win at Texas. Kyle Busch finished 10th after leading for a race-high 66 laps before brushing the wall. He was going for a tripleheader weekend sweep after winning the Trucks Series race Friday night and Xfinity race Saturday to extended his NASCAR record to 203 overall victories.

Golf:

Kevin Kisner became the first player to win Dell Technologies Match Play after losing in the championship match the previous year, as he outlasted British Open champion Francesco Molinari in the semifinals before closing out fellow American Matt Kuchar with a 20-foot putt for a 3-and-2 victory. Kisner, who won $1,745,000 for his first World Golf Championships title, lost last year’s title to Bubba Watson.
