–The Brewers and Nationals combined for 29 runs and 38 hits in a game that lasted over five and a half hours in Washington D.C. Saturday night. Eric Thames clubbed the go-ahead two-run home run in the top of the 14th, and the Brewers held on for the win. Christian Yelich hit two home runs to reach 41 total homers on the year, Ryan Braun also had a two homer game – part of seven home runs on the night for Milwaukee.
