High School’s double team of Keenan Salah and Matt Riley won a pair of matches
on Friday at the WIAA State Boys Tennis Tournament to reach the State
Semifinals. The pair will play this
morning at 9:45am. A win will put them
in the state title match later in the day.

The WIAA State Track Meet is underway in
LaCrosse.
senior Peter Andrew finished 7th in the boys shot-put to collect the
Cardinals only 2 points of the day. In Division Three Boys,
Mary’s Springs’ Sam Spranger had the top time in the 400 meter dash
preliminaries.
The
Mary’s Springs girls scored 21 points on the opening day of the Division Three
State Meet. The Ledgers’ Liz Bohn was 2nd
in the 800 and 5th in the 1600.
Melanie Schneider was 2nd in the long jump. Lizzy Leichtle finished 8th in the
shot put. In Division Two, Chilton’s Kayla Giese was 8th in the 1600
meter run to earn a point for the Tigers.
