Ryan Braun homered in the 1st at the Brewers cruised to a 7-1 win over the Padres on Monday Night. Kyle Lohse went 5 innings to pick up his first win as a Brewer. He had to leave the game when he dislocated his pinky finger on his left hand running past first base. He should be OK. The series continues tonight. Yovani Gallardo gets the start for the Crew. Bucks-Heat: Game 1
The Bucks are in Miami for Game 2 of their first round NBA Playoff Series. The world champion Heat lead the Best of Seven series 1-0 after a 110-87 win on Sunday night. The tip is set for 6:30pm tonight. You’ll hear it on KFIZ.

Fondy Baseball Rallies Past Kaukauna
The Fond du Lac baseball team scored a pair of runs in the 7th inning and 7 in the 8th to win at Kaukauna 10-3 on Monday night. Logan Wendt’s 2 run double tied the game and then the flood gates opened in the extra frame to get Fondy their first win of the year. Ty Rebedew had an inside the park homer in the rally. Tyler Kryzanowski picked up the win. Fondy is scheduled to play at Oshkosh West tonight. If the weather holds, you’ll hear that game on News-Talk 1450 KFIZ. Coverage begins at 4:05pm with the Backyard Grill Pregame Show. The first pitch is set for 4:30pm from Oshkosh.

St. Mary’s Springs won the Flyway Conference Meet at Washington County on Monday night with a score of 166. WLA was 2nd at 180. The Ledgers Nate Strigenz was meet medalist with a 38.

CWC finished fourth and Oakfield took home 6th in a Trailways Meet at Rolling Meadows on Monday. Dustin Wiczek paced the Oaks with a 54. Chris Aslum had a 47 for CWC
EWC Golf
Sheboygan Falls won the EWC Meet at The Bull. Campbellsport was 3rd, New Holstein 5th, and Waupun 6th. C-Sports Logan Eisch was tied for 4th with a 43. Michael Voelker paced New Holstein with a 47. Mason Domask had a 50 to lead Waupun.

Rugby
The Fond du Lac Stoutmen high school boys rugby team bounced back after a close loss to the state runner ups last week by defeating the Kimberly Chaos Monday night by a score of 51-7 at The Rugby Fields at UW-Fond du Lac. The Stoutmen jumped out to a 36-0 lead at halftime, but gave up a Kimberly try off a penalty play right away in the second half. But the Stoutmen responded with 3 more tries after that to guarantee the victory. Fond du Lac upped its record to 1-1. Scoring for the Stoutmen were Nate Snyder, Ezra Poss, Noah Poss, Eric Ritzema, Steven Krueger, Taylor Schultz, Justin Thill, and Ryan Gellings. The Stoutmen face DePere this Friday at The Rugby Fields at UW-FDL at 5:30pm.
