Sturgeon Report – Day 15 : 2/23/19

34 fish were speared on the second to last day of the Sturgeon Spearing Season on Lake Winnebago on Saturday. The 34 fish taken on day 15 of the season brings the total number of sturgeon harvested on Lake Winnebago to 456 with the total for the entire system up to 763 fish. Andrew Schumacher of Chilton came close to a 100 pound sturgeon on Saturday – his fish weighed in at 99.2 pounds and was 74 inches long.
