Vehicle Strikes Apartment Building In FDL

An early Monday morning accident results in a vehicle ramming into a building, along with an arrest. FDL PD was called out shortly after 2:00 a.m. Monday to the 300 block of Boyd St. for reports of a vehicle striking an apartment building on the block. Police arrested a 54-year old male driver of the vehicle, and took him into custody for a first offense OWI. There were no injuries reported, but the owner of the building said there was at least $5000 in damage done to the building.
