Free Drive-Thru COVID Clinic Ends Today (3/4/21)

Today(3-4-21) is the final opportunity to take advantage of the free community COVID-19 testing site at the Fond du Lac County Fairgrounds.  

The testing site, ran in partnership with the Wisconsin National Guard, is open today from 10 AM until 6 PM. Fond du Lac County Public Health Officer Kim Mueller explains that due to lower demand for testing, the fairgrounds site will not stay open past today.  

“The reason why we initially started this testing site at the Fairgrounds was because our local COVID clinic was so inundated and the wait was extremely long because of the need that was out there at that time. We’ve really surpassed that need right now and the need really isn’t there quite as much as it was. ” 

The local COVID clinic through Agnesian/SSM Health will remain open, as will other testing sites around the region. Find more information about where to get a test for COVID-19 at the health department’s website.
