$2.5 Million Ready To Go For Lakeside Park AMP

FDL City Council will take up discussion tonight regarding the Lakeside Park Alternative Master Plan, and the $2.5 million that was approved last fall for capital expenditures associated with the infrastructure that is sought to move the project forward.

The $2.5 million was put back on the table at the September 16, 2020 council meeting and presented into the 2021 budget by Councilman Dan Degner. At the time the budgeted amount was listed as basic funds designated for a concept of the Lakeside Park Alternative Master Plan Project.

Joe Moore tells KFIZ News, in an email, that the management team expects construction at Lakeside Park and specifically in the vicinity of the future restaurant/mixed use facility to begin sometime in April after the normal reviews and approvals have been completed.
