The Fond du Lac Post 75, 17-U team went 1-1 in regional action on Sunday in Oshkosh. Post 75 started the day with a 5-2 win over Oshkosh in an elimination game, before falling to Germantown 17-3 in the Regional Final.

–Three different players recorded two hits for the Dock Spiders, but Fondy could only push a single run across in the ninth inning as they lost to the Booyah on the road Sunday afternoon. Fond du Lac is off for the All-Star break until Thursday, when they resume play with a doubleheader in Wisconsin Rapids.

–Corbin Burnes showed again why he was an All-Star selection, pitching into the ninth inning as the Brewers shutout the Reds to complete the series sweep Sunday afternoon in Cincinnati. Burnes went 8 & ⅓ innings, giving up five hits, walking one and striking out 12 batters in the victory. 

On offense, Willy Adames reached base five times, going 2-for-2 with a home run, while Christian Yelich blasted a solo home run in the seventh for his sixth longball of the season. The win puts Milwaukee seven games up on Cincinnati in the National League Central standings. 

The Brewers return to action Tuesday with a quick two-game series with the Kansas City Royals at American Family Field. First pitch has been moved up to 3:10 PM to accommodate for game six of the NBA Finals in Milwaukee later on Tuesday evening.
