Downtown Kaukauna Project Worth $30 Million

A 30-million-dollar development is coming to city-owned property in downtown Kaukauna. 

The city council gave its approval to plans for the three-acre site earlier this week.  The sale of the property to the developer should close this month, with a hotel opening by the start of the 2022 Green Bay Packers season, and apartments ready for people to move in by summer 2023. 

The new development is expected to generate at least 15 million dollars each year as part of a tax increment financing district.  The five-story apartment complex will be called Edgewater Pointe and will offer market-rate units with views of the river.
