Man Charged With Hate Crime Homicide Ordered To Take Medication

The charged with killing then 53-year old Phillip J. Theissen back in July of 2020 has been ordered to take medication for treatment.

Daniel D. Navarro was charged with a hate crime homicide in Fond du Lac County, after he was accused of intentionally swerving his truck into Theissen, who was a motorcycle at the time.

Navarro believed all Harley motorcycle riders were “white racists”, and also told FDL County Sheriff’s Deputies that he had been poisoned by co-workers and neighbors, and racist comments had been made to him because he was Hispanic.

Navarro had been ordered to undergo treatment at Mendota Mental Health facility to regain competency.
