Evers Urges Residents To Get Vaccinated

Governor Tony Evers, echoing the pleas of hard-pressed health professionals across the state, urges Wisconsinites to get vaccinated against COVID-19 as hospitals are flooded with new cases.

“The answers to deal with this are right in front of us. They’re called vaccines. They work and we’re going to continue to encourage people to get vaccinated.”

Wisconsin hospitals are contending with numbers of COVID-19 hospitalizations not seen since late 2020, before vaccines were first available.
